How to setup email in Outlook 2013/2016?

I set up the email to work flawlessly while using Google GSuite (formerly Google Apps) & 000WebHost but am clueless on how to set up the email account to work in Outlook 2013 or 2016. My domain is purchased with NameCheap but 000WH has autonomy on mail & domain settings.

Any direction on settings to be changed on Outlook & 000WH would be greatly appreciated.

Fields & info I need clarity on:

  • (Outlook) Account type - IMAP or POP3?
  • (Outlook) Incoming Mail server address, what should this be?
  • (Outlook) Logon Information - Is this my credentials for 000WH, my email address or my ISP?
  • (000WH) Any changes to be made regarding the MX record or mail-forwarding?

I’m fairly new to the web-hosting realm, Azure was my previous go-to.

I’m not sure about the free hosting anymore but I’m under the impression that email accounts are disabled & only email forwarding works?

Can you show me a picture of your control panel?

I had mail forwarding while using GSuite though removed it since, none are active/set up now.

With dkassen27.000webhostapp.com as the domain name

So like I’ve setup admin@mysite.com to forward to myaccount@googlemail.com

Then to setup Googlemail with Outlook I follow the instructions provided by Google?

Do I set up a mail forwarder to account@googlemail.com ?

How do I setup the account@googlemail.com though?

Is that gmail?

So say you’ve got

mysite.com hosted @ 000webhost.com

Login and setup an email forwarder

So I want Infinity@mysite.com as an email address

I set that up to forward all emails sent to Infinity@mysite.com to my personal home account

InfinityHomeNerd@googlemail.com

You need an open email account to get emails to like hotmail/googlemail/yahoo etc etc
